INTERVENCION DE CAPAJ AL FORO PERMANENTE EN DEFENSA DEL AGUA

PARA LOS PUEBLOS INDIGENAS (en español y abajo en ingles) Nueva York Sr. Edward Jhon Presidente del UNPFII Sra. Dalee Sambo, Miembro del UNPFII Reciban nuestros Saludos desde Perú: CAPAJ y el Foro indígena mundial por el Agua y la Paz IWFWP, y muchos pueblos indígenas del mundo nos hemos reunido en un evento especial y hemos acordado solicitar a Uds. se sirvan recomendar al Pleno del UNPFII incluir en el informe final de la XI sesión del UNPFII, los aportes que hemos formulado por el respeto a la vital relación espiritual que guardan nuestros pueblos con las aguas de sus territorios Ancestrales. La doctrina del descubrimiento impidió que el mundo conozca esa gran obra de nuestras culturas de Tratar al agua como una matriz de vida. El tratamiento indígena de las aguas superficiales, subterráneas y aéreas, fue una ciencia ecológica muy avanzada. Los supuestos conquistadores actuaron cegados por la falsa doctrina del Descubrimiento en nuestro habitad natural, trajeron el concepto de dominio sobre las aguas. Hoy los Estados asumen las aguas como suyas sin tomar en cuenta que los ríos, lagos y humedales no fueron descubiertos por los conquistadores, sino que por milenios nuestros parientes ya mantenían una relación especial con el agua que era la característica de nuestras civilizaciones. Merece que el UNPFII, en esta sesión remarque este error histórico y se pronuncie expresamente por remediar al agua y devolver a nuestros pueblos su madre agua, para que siga siendo sana y se reproduzca conforme a nuestros usos y costumbres, para bien de toda la humanidad. Mr. Edward John Chair of the UNPFII Ms. Dalee Sambo, Member of the UNPFII Receive our Greetings from Peru: CAPAJ and global Indigenous Forum on Water and Peace IWFWP, and many othres indigenous peoples of the World, have gathered at a special event and have agreed to ask you to make use of the UNPFII to recommend to the full inclusion in the final report of the eleventh session of the UNPFII, the contributions we have made with respect for the vital spiritual relationship that keep our people with the waters of their ancestral territories. The doctrine of discovery prevented the world know that great work of our cultures to treat the water as an array of life. Native treatment of surface water, underground and overhead was a very advanced ecological science. The alleged conquerors acted blinded by the false doctrine of discovery in our natural habitat, brought the concept of dominion over the waters. Today the states take the waters as their own regardless of the rivers, lakes and wetlands were not discovered by the conquistadors, but by thousands of our relatives and maintained a special relationship with water that was characteristic of our civilizations It that the UNPFII, this session remarque this historical error and a ruling expressly to remedy the water and return to our people their mother water to keep it healthy and reprodusca according to our customs and traditions for the good of all mankind .
